In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the Victorian era.

It is approximately 29 1/2" (75cm) high and it is 26" (66cm) wide across the arms. The seat is approximately 19" (48cm) deep and 15 1/2" (39cm) high. It has lost a little bit of height as the bottom of the legs have worn over the years.

It is in good condition for its age and is strong and sturdy. It has developed a nice aged patina with a lovely colour and grain. The chair is not without a few small marks and signs of age and use but no major damages and nothing detrimental. There are some minor signs of historic woodworm which has all been treated as a precaution and hasn't affected the chair structurally or aesthetically. The chair has been cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
