Konstantin STOITZNER (1863-1934) was the son of Austrian botanist and teacher, Karl Stoitzner. He painted genre scenes and portraits; after 1900 he devoted himself mainly to landscapes, inspired by the Alps. From 1914-1923 he was Chairman of the Austrian Association of Artists. (** NB: he signed himself: “C. Stoitzner”)
