Bedsteads has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The foot end features all original brass which has been cleaned and polished to bring out the naturally aged patina.
Professionally restored to be sturdy and practical, the frame has been shot blasted, primed and hand painted with Little Greene’s Obsidian Green, waxed to preserve.
The side rails have been strengthened and adapted to support wood slats or a bed base.
