The top has a raised gallery and an inset green leather writing surface with gilt tooled edging.
The desk is in very good condition. It is generally clean and tidy throughout and the writing surface is in good order. The drawers open well and the desk moves well on its castors. There are normal signs of light wear and age but nothing detrimental and it displays beautifully. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
