Description

A wonderful Victorian traditional dip pen made from Mother of pearl with a large tip beautifully carved and engraved with a scrolled foliate design and incorporating a bird.

The Mother of pearl pen has a very stylish and unusual sterling silver nib holder, again engraved. There are two silver rings, the top one slides down to release the nib holder which pivots allowing the nib to be removed and changed.

Excellent condition, measuring 71/4" in length.
