Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Signal oil lamps were portable handheld lanterns used by railway guards and staff between the early to mid-twentieth century to convey visual light signals to train drivers and signalmen.

These lamps are typically constructed from heavy-gauge sheet steel or iron coated in black paint or enamel, featuring brass fittings, glass lenses, and internal oil burner components.

Authentic examples often feature stamped initials or logos from railway companies such as BR, LNER, or GWR on the metal body, alongside period-correct brass mechanisms and thick glass lenses.

An industrial railway lamp serves as a striking accent piece on a bookshelf, mantelpiece, or console table within industrial or eclectic interior schemes.

Dust the metal body gently with a dry microfibre cloth and use a specialist metal polish sparingly on brass accents, avoiding harsh abrasive cleaners that could strip original paint or patina.
