Fine late 19th century Chinese bronze censer/ container with lid, c1890.Well cast and heavy for its size at 1.2kg it has real presence with great decoration and form. The lid is topped with a large temple Lion/Fo dog finial and it has highly stylised handles depicting Phoenix/mythical birds. There are two large central decorative panels featuring birds, foliage etc. Overall condition is good with no obvious issues.
