Antique Silver and Ebony Two Piece Conductor's Baton in Fitted Case. 1924.

Description

This antique two piece conductor's baton which is made of ebony has silver fittings and cleverly unscrews so it can be packed away in it's case for transportation.

This baton has aesthetically designed silver fittings which are hallmarked for 1924, comes in it's original blue velvet lined case and is a very nice quality item in great condition.

The top has an inscription that reads: Presented To CJ Selley Oct 1929.

Hallmarked: Lion for sterling silver. Leopards head for London and the date letter i for 1924. Maker's mark G.G.

Dimensions of Baton: Length: 44.5 cm (17 1/2").

Dimensions of Case: Width: 25 cm (10"). Depth: 4 cm (1 1/2"). Height: 2.5 cm (1").

Total Weight: 152 g.

Condition: Excellent used antique condition with light signs of use in keeping with age. No damage or breaks.
