Edwardian 1.54 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, Circa 1910

Description

An impressive old mine cut diamond engagement ring. The beautifully cut, slightly cushion shaped centre stone displays a slightly warm tone and impressive amounts of fire and brilliance. The stone is rubover and claws set in a platinum coronet collet and is flanked by polished platinum shoulders to a slender 18k yellow gold shank.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from IGR (#30310585).

Cut – Old mine cut.

Colour – J.

Clarity – SI1.

Carat – Approximately 1.54.

Circa – 1910.

Size – N 1/2 (UK) or 6.75 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.

Weight – 2.64 grams.

Provenance – English.

Measurements – The centre, including the rubover setting, is approximately 7.7 x 6.7mm and sits 6.9mm from the finger.

Metal – Stamped 18CT PLAT indicating 18k yellow gold and platinum, and tests as such.
