Description

Still life oil painting dated 1889. Traditional Dutch style composition of an 18th.c. polychrome Delft plate, green glass jar, brown glass bottle, plus pewter brass and copper items. Very proficiently painted in oils on an artists board. With a clear signature A. Avalle and the date 1889 in the lower left hand corner. Presented as found, in a simple polished oak frame with gilt slip. Good condition but would doubtless benefit from a clean.
