Swedish 19th Century Painted Chest of Drawers

Description

19th century painted chest of drawers circa 1870.

Substantial baroque revival swedish chest of drawers.  presented in later paint which is best described as a very light grey or a dirty white.

Plain top with moulded edge, below which are 3 drawers of equal proportion that open on the key.  handles could be retro fitted if required.

Working locks and key.  standing on 2 front carved feet and block feet to the reverse.  oak lined drawers, making this a chest of some weight.

Minor losses and fading to paintwork.  1 indentation to top edge and old losses to 1 front foot,  these are shown in the photographs.

Strong, sturdy and ready for everyday use.
