A rare cased English solid sterling silver and mother of pearl rattle teether. It is hallmarked for Chester 1928 with the makers marks being that of William Vale & Sons. It has been superbly designed in the form of a peg doll and is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 3.75 inches (9.6cm) long by 2 inches (5cm) across and weighs 14 grams excluding the case. A very nicely made piece.
