A rare survival from the late 18thc, is this beautiful creamware teapot, with intricate shaped ''basket weave'' handle , nicely shaped finial and hand painted flower patterns...it comes from the Leeds area of England and is known as Leedsware, probably from the factory of Hartley Greens & Co, based just outside Leeds at Hunslet and well known for the manufacture of creamware at this time.....the teapot is in totally original condition with no restoration.
