Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
Comprising a tall vase and a pair of smaller flanking vases.
Each vase in two pieces, the upper element being a scalloped and trumpet shaped vase, the body sweeping in rounded panels, between concave flute borders, toward a foot rim, which fits within the lower element, the downswept shoulders with bowed openings to the bodies to allow the display of single flowers or posies. The bodies of conforming rounded panel and fluted border form. The whole raised up on outward splatted feet.
The rims, collars, feet and edges of the decoration in gilt.
Height 6 3/4 inches, 17cm.
Width 5 inches, 12.5cm.
Depth 4 1/4 inches, 11cm.
