Description

This classically tasteful king size Edwardian bed has all the familiarity of a classic straight rail bed with a few unique, special touches, making this an individual bed without being too ‘out there’!

Lovely detail in decorative castings, with a delightful combination of round iron and square brass tube. Original brass caps, feet and central ball. All brass cleaned, polished and aged to give a lovely patina.

Professionally restored to be sturdy and practical, the frame has been shot blasted, primed and hand painted with Little Greene’s Jack Black, waxed to preserve. All joints checked to ensure a good fit.

The side rails have been strengthened and adapted to support wood slats or a bed base.

Suitable for mattress size 150cm x 200cm.
