French Elm & Marble Cabinet Louis XVI Style
A striking cabinet featuring a variegated red, white and grey fixed marble top and increasingly rare elm veneered panels.
The wood is a lovely light colour throughout with distinctive patterns to the veneer and attractive brass decoration and drawer pull.
Sitting below the marble is a full-width drawer, which is constructed in oak with a book-matched elm veneered front, which is inlaid with boxwood and walnut stringing lines.
The main door is quarter book-matched elm with a stringing line border and brass door pull. The door leads into a storage space.
The cabinet stands on square tapered legs in solid elm with brass sabot feet.
Overall in excellent condition with only minor age-related marks, the cabinet has been cleaned, re-polished and waxed. A versatile piece that will fit into a variety of rooms.

Our prices include shipping to England or Wales. We have stock in Kent and France. Should a piece need importing from France, the price is DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) to include shipping, UK import VAT and customs clearance; there are no hidden costs. Please contact us if you need a quote to deliver elsewhere in the UK, Europe or worldwide.
We ship larger pieces with specialised transport couriers and smaller pieces with FedEx or the post. We take great care in ensuring that our pieces are well-packaged for transport. Deliveries take on average between 10 days and 3 weeks (possibly longer, depending on your location, times of year and any other factors).
