Stunning Antique Edwardian Card Table / Side Table
This Stunning Antique Edwardian Card Table / Side Table / Games Table / Console Table dates from ca. 1900 and is in the Chippendale design, made from Mahogany. It has a beautifully figured top with gadrooned moulded edge. The top opens to double its size, revealing the playing surface finished in green baize and a concealed drawer with divides for storing cards. This fine antique card table stands on cabriole legs with decorative carvings and ball and claw feet. The Mahogany has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
