Antique Furniture Direct has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
It has a Vono frame which is easily assembled or dis-assembled. Comprising of a headboard, footboard and iron rails which make a very solid bed fame. (no base or mattress included).

Solid and sturdy with good original patina. Wear and marks commensurate with age. At some point the legs have been shortened and the rails raised slightly – with the original holes visible below.
