A 1951 Jaeger Le-Coultre 9K gold wristwatch. A silvered dial with applied gilt Arabic numerals and a printed script of 'Jaeger Le-Coultre' below 12. An unusual case design, with a 'tear drop' style in solid 9K gold. A manual wind caliber P478 Jaeger Le-Coultre mechanism. Case reference 12872. Birmingham gold hallmarks date this watch to 1951.
