JUST ARRIVED IN STOCKFabulous Huge Scale Scottish Highland Family Oil Portrait On Canvas Signed & Dated.-This is a fabulous Country House / Scottish Hunting Lodge piece and it was painted by a well exhibited British artist who has signed the work J.Beauford.-This is an incredible quality early 20th century (1930) Oil Painting depicting three young Scottish children wearing the Clan MacGregor red tartan kilts.-Clan MacGregor (also known as clan Gregor) are a Highland clan who can claim an origin as far back as the 800s.As well as being among the first Scottish clans to play the bagpipes in the early 1600s, clan MacGregor produced one of the most famous folk heroes in Scottish history, in the form of Rob Roy MacGregor.
