Pair of late C19th Chinese Qing Dynasty carved hardwood inset marble top low tables or jardiniere stands .

Good quality pair of carved and pierced ‘hongmu’ tables with inset shaped rouge marble tops and a carved bead edge . The pierced and carved friezes with leaf and fruiting vine detail , the heavily carved and shaped legs with mask detail to the knees onto claw feet , united by shaped stretchers .

In excellent original condition with no damage or losses .No cracks or damage to variegated rouge marble panel tops . Rich colour and patina to the dense , heavy grade of timber .
