Gillers Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
Elongated elegant handles are reeded on the sides; the knives are decorated near the collars with delicate applied leaves. Both sets come in their original presentation cases.

The set dates to 1890’s – 1910’s; the forks were made in Germany and the knives were made by Jules Albrecht, Switzerland and come in a box bearing his logo. The box is lined with pale blue silk and velvet.

Great antique condition. Scuffing to box commensurate with age; one of the hinges of the fork box is loose; some scuffing to gilt; one fork tine has a deep nick.
