Superb walnut two door bookcase / display cabinet from the fabulous Victorian era. This cabinet boasts amazing graining throughout and is decorated with fantastic string inlay, quality ormolu mouldings and mount. The two glazed doors are flanked by reeded columns and have working lock and key. Inside the shelves are lined in a velvet fabric with walnut edges
with delicate string inlay fronts. Like all antiques there are some imperfections however these only add to the charm and character of this outstanding piece of furniture. It is a decent size and will house a wonderful collection of books or display your treasures to their best. The delicate string decoration, exceptionally well cast ormolu mounts and edging the interior shelves with fine string inlay exudes quality and class. An absolutely stunning piece of furniture to add to any home.
