This Queen Anne style walnut bow chest was made circa 1910.

It is bow fronted and fitted with an unusual drawer formation of 3 small drawers along the top and then a standard drawer formation of 2 small and 2 full width drawers under.

All the drawers are banded with herringbone around the edge and the top with a wide crossbanding edged with the same herringbone. The drawers all have pear drop handle pulls that are what would have been found on early 18th century furniture.

The Queen Anne style walnut bow chest stands on short cabriole legs with a carved shell to the knee.

This very attractive chest is of a lovely golden honey colour.

The chests proportions are very good for the modern home.
