A Georgian mahogany writing desk, fretwork gallery over cylinder roll top, the curved ends carved with trailing bellflowers, fitted with a combination of small interior drawers with lozenge escutcheons, sliding top with hinged and adjustable inset leather writing surface, arched kneehole carved with trailing floral branches flanked by two cockbeaded drawers with foliage cartouches, C-scroll carved corner brackets, on tapering supports decorated with trailing bellflowers terminating to block feet.
