Antique Edwardian Mahogany Desk C1900

Antique Edwardian Mahogany Inlaid Desk and dating from around 1900. Constructed from quality mahogany it has two short drawers to each end joined by a single shelf with attractive serpentine shaped frieze with inlaid satinwood sunburst to the centre . The desk top with original leather embossed skiver set within a moulded edge. To the centre there is a long drawer flanked on either side by two drawers. All of the drawers are mahogany lined with original brass handles and all are edges with inlaid cross banded edges. It is raised on long tapering legs on a spade foot.

MEASURES: 36” HIGH TO BACK X 29.5” HIGH TO DESK TOP X 21.5” DEEP X 45.5” WIDE

With a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
