A 19th century Blanc de Chine porcelain Buddhist lion standing on a pedestal.
They are usually depicted in pairs, with the male resting his paw on an embroidered ball and the female restraining a playful cub.
Probably late 19th century with a potter's stamp.

Condition:
There are chips on the tips of the fangs which are only visible with a magnifying glass, the left ear has been professionally restored.
