A substantial and good quality freestanding 19th Century carved oak library table, desk or centre table. The cross banded top having a carved edge and replaced hand dyed leather writing surface with blind and gold tooling. The gadroon carved frieze having a full width drawer with brass ring handles between the canted corners which have carved lions heads with brass rings. The superb base having carved arches with finials above large turned and carved dual end supports and raised on dolphin carved feet. Condition - Very good with no damage.
