An Art Nouveau Vaseline & Uranium Glass Posy Vase

A lovely vaseline glass posy vase from the late Victorian era. This charming example is of organic tulip form with a flared undulating rim and is in white and pink fading to a striking yellow/green uranium base. The naturalistic foot is formed into five leaves, in the Art Nouveau taste. Under UV light the uranium is bright and striking. An eye catching example, this lovely piece would make an excellent gift idea being both practical and decorative. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no cracks or chips. There is a burst air bubble to the outside of the body, part of the manufacture process and commensurate with age.

Diameter :- 8 cms. (widest point of foot).

Rim diameter :- 6.5 cms.
