Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1950s.
It has a platinum case and the most exquisite diamonds which are incredibly white, bright and crisp. The total carat weight is approximately 2.5cts elegant and very much in the classic Art Deco design.

The dial is original and unblemished with polished faceted silver steel hands, in superb condition.
It comes with its original 9ct white gold snake link bracelet and the watch fits a wrist size of up to 6 1/4 inches or 16cms although we can reduce this to any required size, it also has its original solid 9ct white gold two position safety clasp.

Vertex are one of the most exclusive makers in the world, from the 1930s through to the 1960s they were widely recognised as the premier maker of Platinum and diamond watches. This watch certainly has that understated elegance which resonates class.

The barrel shaped diamond case measures 14mm wide not including the crown and the diamond shoulders are fully hinged and articulated to wrap around the wrist.
Overall this watch is simple stunning and was obviously extremely well cared for, it would certainly make a perfect gift for any lady especially when worn with that little black dress
