Exquisite pair of Napoleon III patinated and gilded bronze candelabra, each of the arms are decorated with gilded chains.
Both are surmounted with a semi-naked dancing male/ female musician that sit central to the five ormolu candleholders. The central part of the candelabra takes the form of tree branch, this leads down to tri-form feet with naturalistic foliage. Above this sits a fabulous ormolu depiction of what looks like tragedy & comedy masks, along with musical instruments.
A very fine quality pair of candelabra.
