A rare pair of Italian Walnut Side/Hall Chairs from the 18th Century.
They have a shaped open carved back frame enclosing a sharply designed fret vertical splat.
The generous seat is supported by four curved cabriole legs with delicately carved reeding on both corners from top to bottom which is a very nice detail.
What distinguishes them most is their unpretentious charm due to their sturdy but refined design.
Upholstery: in good usable condition, with a couple of slight marks to the fabric which, depending on the use and situation, can be easily changed.
Origin: Italy, likely Genoa
