Superb Antique Regency Mahogany Breakfront Triple Wardrobe COMPACTUM and dating from around 1820. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a moulded cornice top with dental moulding and with cross banded frieze with inlaid stringing. This is above two central doors with satinwood inlaid Ovals and original brass handles and with brass door divider. Internally it is all hanging with brass rail. This is above two short drawers over three long graduating drawers all of which are mahogany lined with original brass handles and all with satinwood cross banded edges. To each side there are two small doors each having satinwood cross banded panels and original brass handles. Internally and to one side there are four fixed shelves and to the other side it is all hanging with brass rail. The whole being raised on a deep plinth base.
