A good Japanese Meiji period brass vesta case of rectangular form with a side hinged lid, decorated on both sides with a planished finish and four birds in flight, one patinated copper. This fine vesta case has a strike strip on the underside and is in excellent overall condition measuring 2 ½ inches in length.
