Technical Description
 
A beautiful Edwardian silver flying scarab decorated in the guilloche enamel technique. Produced by Charles Horner, maker''s mark is ‘C.H’, fully hallmarked for Chester 1909. Mounted with a silver tube to the back, a rare feature allowing for different attachment types either as a pendant or charm. Set with green, aqua marine blue and cobalt blue enamels over etched detailing.

Condition
 
Very fine, age-related wear as shown, some loss to the enamelling. Tube loop is in good order.
