Description

A quality French gilded cased striking carriage clock of larger proportions. A gilt dial and chapter ring with 'moon' blued steel hands. The original gilded finish case with a fluted carrying handle. Dentil case edging and fluted columns. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours and 1/2 hours on a gong. Push button repeating. A lever escapement. Circa 1900.
