This is a fine pair of late 19th Century Chinese Jars in perfect condition with original covers all beautifully hand painted in the Famille Rose taste.The jars are of a substantial scale with striking bold colours depicting pheasants and butterflies in foliage and figures in a Chinese courtyard scene.The panels are framed with dense borders of colourful flowers that include butterflies chrysanthemum and many other varieties.
