Not being sold as floor covering but for the sheer beauty, it's a display piece, or to go over a table. This ancient rug has been put together from half a dozen fragments- maybe more- and is not sewn very tightly together so it is not recommended for the floor. It does have, however, beautiful natural dyes, including that wonderful gold field. A pleasure to look at and a stepping stone into the mysterious and wonderful world of antique rug collecting...!
