This is a very good quality French walnut chest dating from around 1920 in outstanding condition. The chest is very robustly constructed which is evident in the sheer weight of the piece. The drawers are all dovetailed in solid oak and beech lined and are hand carved with lovely detail. The cabinet of the chest has an attractive curved shape and is raised on elegant carved cabriole legs. The top surface is in excellent clean condition with a lovely shape.
