C19th Elm Ash & Beech Lancashire Rush Seat Country Carver Armchair

A C19th, elm, ash and beech framed, rush seated, Lancashire type, country carver armchair. This chair features a triple row of turned spindles back, turned style uprights, open shaped arms with turned supports, over rush woven seats, raised on rounded front legs with off-set pad feet, squared rear legs, all supported by stretchers.
 
A charming old country carver. Serviced, cleaned and waxed, and ready for use.

This armchair measures approximately 109.75 cm (43.25'') tall, 62.5 cm (24.5'') wide, and 55.5 cm (22'') deep. The seat height is approximately 42 cm (16.5'') and width between the arms 47.5 cm (18.75'')
