C19th Elm & Ash Lancashire Rush Seat Country Carver Armchair

A C19th, elm and ash framed, rush seated, Lancashire type, country carver armchair. This chair feature a triple row of turned spindles back, turned style uprights, open shaped arms with turned supports, over rush woven seats, raised on rounded front legs with off-set pad feet, squared rear legs, all supported by stretchers.
 
A charming old country carver. In good condition. Serviced, cleaned and waxed, and ready for use.

This armchair measures approximately 103 cm (40.5'') tall, 62 cm (24.5'') wide, and 53.5 cm (21'') deep. The seat height is approximately 41 cm (16.25'') and width between the arms 47.75 cm (18.75'')
