Description

This delightful and unusual Edwardian silver duck pin cushion bears the marks of Sydney & Co and is dated Birmingham 1906. The body with detailed plumage rests on a circular silver base. The eyes inset with turquoise cabochons, a rare and exquisite detail. The original cushion finished in purple velvet.

Hallmarks:

S&C for Sydney & Co.

Birmingham Assay Mark.

Lion Passant.

Date letter "g" for 1906.

Body in good condition, with a few creases commensurate with age.
