This is a most beautiful French Louis XVI style Giltwood & Gesso Mirror in superb original condition with a fabulous water gilding. The mirror has great form, with six separate marginal mirrors mounted in the egg and dart moulded frame around the large central plate. The central crest has wonderful detail with a grand urn issuing flowers and two rams heads to the sides of the urn.
