Description

A nice example of an early 20th Century mahogany filing cabinet with 7 internal drawers and an attractive tambour front. It has a wooden handle on the front and comes with its original key. It is a good quality piece with panelled sides and a lovely patina.

It is in good condition and is certainly a very usable piece. The tambour front slides smoothly and the key works, automatically locking the front when it is closed. The drawers are clean and tidy however the bottom drawer is missing and has been replaced with a shelf instead. It is not without signs of age and use, some small marks and knocks and some old chips here and there but nothing detrimental and it displays well.
