An attractive Victorian freestanding and round cornered burr walnut pedestal desk. The top having a cross banded and moulded edge and retaining the original inset green leather writing surface which has blind and gold tooling. The 9 drawers all having burr walnut fronts with turned pulls and complete with working brass locks and keys. The freestanding back with conforming sides and the pedestals are raised on plinth bases with hidden brass casters below.
