Biedermeier Display Cabinet

A superb Satinwood display cabinet in the Biedermeier style with shield panels on the lower case. It has 2 drawers on the inside made of pitch pine with ring drop handles, the carcass is made of good quality pine probably Douglas fir. The whole being veneered in satinwood . The shields have a black inner shield with brass figures of huntsmen and their dogs . The top of the piece has an unusual fretted cornice and the glazing has applied c scroll bars. It has an original lock and key.
