During migrations, the bags would have been filled with bedding, clothes, pots and pans etc. and each tied to the flanks of the camel.

This bag is unusual for its depiction of stylised birds around the central red horizontal border. In excellent condition, the bag retains its leather tie-straps and leather binding on the edges.
