Description

Waltham Traveler full hunter pocket watch, 1927.

The watch has a seven jewel stem-winding movement, Traveler grade which is working well. The fully signed movement has the serial number 26,294,847 which dates it back to 1927. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the 10ct gold filled Moon model from the Dennison Watch Case Company, the main supplier of cases to Waltham UK. There is a little marking, some rubbing around the hinge where it has sat in a pocket, and some fairly gentle unevenness to the back

The winding crown pushes in to release the front cover. Inside there is a glass lens which is in nice condition.

The signed dial is in lovely condition too with original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
