Early Spode Blue & White Greek Pattern Dish C1820

Description

This very attractive ENGLISH BLUE & WHITE POTTERY SHAOED DISH dates from circa 1810.

Probably made at the SPODE Factory (COYSH & HENRYWOOD BLUE AND WHITE PRINTED POTTERY 1780-1880 Vol 1 Page 162),it is decorated with a transfer print in the Greek Pattern, the medallions in the border set within a leafy background and enamelled red around the edges.

The condition is good with no restoration. There are some minor grazes which cannot be seen from the front.

Width: 10.25 inches (26.5 cm)
