Large oil on canvas of a dark bay horse in a stable by the Belgium artist Francois Duyk. The painting is signed and mounted in a wooden frame with gilt foliate detail slip.

Francois Duyck was a 19th century artist who was more known for his portraits of horses. He has one painting - The Sledge - that has been widely reproduced.
